Anchor can send an SMS message to your chosen SOS contacts when you tap the SOS button. This uses your device’s native messaging app. Anchor does not store, read, or access any other text messages.
If you choose to submit a recovery story, it is sent via your device’s email app or a Google Form directly to the app developer. No personal data, device information, or usage data is included — only what you type into the submission form.
Anchor does not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party services. There are no ads. There is no tracking code. Your usage is completely private.
